Dr. Sarah Kennea founded Whistler Medical Aesthetics and has built her reputation on precision injectable work that achieves natural-looking results. An early member of the Allergan Medical Institute Faculty, she was appointed to lead the Faculty in 2022. Among a select group of seven Canadian physicians chosen twice for direct mentorship under Dr. Mauricio De Maio, Dr. Kennea has mastered MD Codes and the 8 Point Lift technique. She develops training modules for AMI and mentors injectors across North America. Her approach centers on the full picture: helping patients focus on how they want to feel, rather than targeting individual lines or folds in isolation.

Dr. Tara Lynn Teshima is a Royal College board-certified plastic, reconstructive, and craniofacial surgeon based in Vancouver. She holds a Clinical Assistant Professor appointment and serves as MD Undergraduate Director in the Division of Plastic Surgery at UBC.

Her training includes a Masters Degree in Virology, medical school and plastic surgery residency at the University of Alberta, and advanced fellowship training in adult craniofacial surgery at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and the Odette Cancer Centre in Toronto. That foundation gives her specialized expertise in cosmetic surgery of the face, including facelift, rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, and facial rejuvenation.

At Whistler Medical Aesthetics, Dr. Teshima sees patients one day per week, offering injectables, skin cancer biopsies (with doctor referral), mole removals, treatment of minor lumps and bumps, and cosmetic surgery consultations.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Teshima has contributed to medical education as invited faculty for Medskl, a global collaboration of medical school professors dedicated to accessible CME learning. She is also a volunteer surgeon on medical missions to Kyiv, Ukraine, providing complex surgical care to wounded soldiers. Her mission work was featured in the W5 documentary "Healing Hands."
