Working and living in a small mountain town is a dream come true. I live in Whistler (BC Canada) year-round, and we are raising two young boys there. Being the mother of boys has its challenges, and combining motherhood with work has been both stressful and rewarding.
I want my patients to know me, and understand that I don’t just sell the hype of these treatments, as a physician and woman I use them myself. I recently had Dermapen, and it had a really positive youthful effect on my skin. I am so impressed with it.
I also get to see my patients in a more personal setting, which helps them to feel at ease, talk more freely, and allows me to be flexible. If something isn’t working for a person we can change and adapt the treatment easily.
I recently had a young lady in, who had what was for her, a distressing scar on her face in a prominent location. After only one Dermapen treatment there was a significant visible improvement on the skin on and around the scar. A treatment that could cost tens of thousands for surgical correction.
All of my cosmetics treatments are also chosen for their equally important therapeutic benefits. Many people will find this surprising, but Botox, for example, has amazing therapeutic uses. I have regular patients who have Botox injections to treat and prevent migraine headaches with considerable success.
Botox can also be used for teeth grinding, excessive sweating, muscle stiffness, eye twitches and much more.
Dermapen, as I have already mentioned, is an incredible clinical tool. I love it for its ability to help people with their confidence around their physical experience. Acne scarring can leave a lot of mental scars, and Dermapen is a great treatment for acne scarring.
Dermapen is also fantastic for trauma scars, clinical scars, stretch marks anymore.
PRP is a process where we draw blood, and reduce the blood in a special machine to get the plasma which contains platelets.
While your own plasma is fantastic for cosmetic uses, it is also incredibly therapeutic for muscular and joint pains such as tennis elbow, wrist pain, neck pain and so on.
